do something new with my hair.
Went in for a trim, came out with a new 'do 2 years ago

You know the drill, you ask the stylist for one thing and end up with something very very different. I’d been thinking of getting my hair short for quite some time now but just didnt have the cuts.

Well, whether it was intentional or not … I did it, and I have to admit… I like it

My new ‘do looks a lot like the the one pictured here.

Finish the nursery
See- Stop procrastinating 2 years ago

So my daughter is 3 1/2 months old now and still doesn’t have a nursery. The room that is to be her nursery is currently a black hole for all things clothing. I have been trying to empty it out for some time now but I’m just not getting anywhere.

My husband and I have vowed to clean out this room on Friday and hopefully with a little added motivation from 43 things we will succeed!

write and illustrate a children's book
First step 2 years ago

I have two small children (both under 2) and people are constantly sending us children’s books. My son loves them all regardless of their content but the more kids books I read the more I realize… I could do this. And I think I would be good at it.

today I decided to do something about it, so I:

- enrolled in my next college class
- signed up for an English Composition Clep test
- Downloaded the application to the Children’s Lit Institute

has anyone used the Institute for Children’s Literature? Is it worth it? Is it a joke?

Thanks
