My boyfriend is from Baku, and a lot of my friends are from Russia and I’m sick of them talking without me understanding. I’ve already taken a semester of Russian, enough to understand a few words here and there, but not really enough to speak. I can read and write better than any of my Russian friends, which is kind of cool.
