You have to be in generally good health in order to give blood. I have wanted to save lives by giving my blood since I can remember. Today my father gave his 45th pint of blood and recieved a 5 gallon donor pin. I am so proud of him. And at the same time envious of him and everyone else who is able to give blood. One day before I die I will give blood, and it’ll be my turn to be proud of myself.
