I’m renting the house I’m living in during the school year, and it’s been a disaster to try and keep this clean. My roommate is a boy who I’m pretty sure has never cleaned anything ever. Somewhere between the part where the house is old, there are some major plumbing issues, there’s one bathroom, there’s no dishwasher, and the worst cat ever resides here, a really huge problem was born.
I would be much more enthused about cleaning my house if the work would be split evenly…. and if the cat was gone!

How I did it: it's hard to save money every single time you get it- the last thing you want to do with christmas money is put it all into the bank! for me, it was all about saving and cutting back. i'm hoping to transfer next year or the year after to a pricey music school, so i'm not avoiding debt forever- but for now, having the payments out of my way is amazing. Read how I did it…
I haven’t gotten good grades since middle school- it was at that point that I realized homework was unnecessary because I was learning anyway and, truth be told, I was leagues ahead of the kids in my classes who spent every waking moment doing their schoolwork. Unfortunately, at school intelligence is measured by what shows up on the paper in your teacher’s hands instead of what’s in your head.
I’m a freshman in college and am trying to learn to spend my time doing the work my teachers assign. Last semester I ended up with a 3.7 average, so I’m hoping by the end of this semester I’ll be able to score a solid 4.0 average. It’s hard spending time on things I often find to be worthless, but scholarships are proving to be an awfully nice incentive to keep my grades up!
I have always been fascinated by all sorts of mythology, but especially Greek. To just have a single glimpse of the Parthenon… I would be beyond thrilled. This part of the world is rooted in so much history and culture, I can only imagine what it would be like to see it beyond a photograph.
I’m a college student right now and I know this is going to take me several years to accomplish, but it’s something wonderful to look forward to nonetheless.
