Life is far too short to talk to people who care little for you, who use you to fill the gaps in their lives, to have you listen without any care to your own feelings.
There are also the less worthy sort in the world that you are better off not associating yourself with in any way whatsoever; toxic beings. It was hard to do at first, but there is a time in a person’s life when they realise that enough is enough and that they deserve better. It taught me to respect myself, even if it took longer to do this than I had hoped. I’m proud that I’ve done it, and my life is all the better for it. I’ll never go back to it.

How I did it: Even more motivation to walk! I made it so that the only time I let myself listen to the audiobook was when I walked, so I wasn't so inclined to lay on the comfy and inviting sofa as opposed to an hour or two walk. It helped a lot! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I took a 14-hour weekend intro class at a massage school this past March, and I am so glad I did! I was surprised at how much I learned in just two days. It felt so short, despite being seven hours a day.We learned how to do draping and how to do a full body Swedish massage, using holly oil. It was so much fun! We used other students to practice on, and took turns. So not only did I give massages, but received as well! I have to say… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I was on vacation this past week to the Sunshine Coast here in British Columbia, Canada -- a densely populated place of which is entirely surrounded by timberland and the ocean, and accessible only by ferry. It is the epitome of Canadian pastoral loveliness. No matter where you are, you are in nature. It takes only a little walk in any direction to find a place without any persons. It was around 10PM when I decided to bundle up in a winter… Read how I did it…

I have listed this as something completed, because I have pledged myself to a life of learning. I cannot see myself giving up on learning; the will to learn is such an intrinsic part of my personality.
With only a few months before I move away to uni, I want to do some volunteer work with WWOOF. It’s silly to have all this idle time.
I bought a subscription to WWOOF Canada, and am hoping to volunteer for a week or two on a ranch or vineyard.. something like that, in a place with lots of greenery. I want to feel useful!
