Maybe there's no such thing. 21 months ago

I think maybe this is a wild goose chase. So far all I’ve found are a million different conflicting opinions on what emo is and what music is considered emo.

But I did discover that the lead singer for Death Cab For Cutie is the same lead singer for The Postal Service, and I didn’t know that before.

Really, I just want to find cool music.

For my first book of the year, I picked “Cruel & Unusual” by Patricia Cornwell. I should really start with “Postmortem”, but I think I loaned it to my cousin when we swapped out books a few months ago…but I’m okay with reading them out of order. I love Scarpetta.

Quit Smoking

Okay, I’ve dragged my feet about adding this to my list…not because I don’t want to do it, but because I don’t want to think about doing it.

I know it’s going to be difficult. I also know if I can do this, I’ll have more time and money to focus on other things.

I figured it up (although my math ain’t so good.) I smoke about a pack a day. It takes me 7 to 10 minutes to smoke a cigarette. A pack costs $4.64.

That adds up to about 24 hours of wasted time in a week and almost 35 dollars. That’s ridiculous. Not to mention health and hygiene issues.

Still, that doesn’t make it any easier to quit. Somehow that information is just another brick in the wall of things I don’t want to face.

After this pack, I’m going to give cold turkey another shot.
