Having good writing skills is important, but probably not the only important thing to start blogging.
I don’t want this blog to be “yet another exhibitionist’s diary”. It means that i don’t plan to write about what i did during the day even though sometimes it might be interesting :).
So, the content should be interesting enough to resonate with other people’s thoughts.
Another problem is how other people will find my blog. But that’s already a technical problem and i like solving technical problems :).
And one more potential problem is to decide what you allowed to post and what not. The company i work for doesn’t have any official blogging policy, but i think common sense will work just fine.

I’m spending a lot of time in the net. Having a blog will allow me to become an active participant in some interesting conversations. There is a problem though, this goal is directly depends on my other goal (improve my writing skills), so it’ll probably take some time until i’ll start my own blog :)
Setting goals
I’ve read a lot of articles about different self-development and organization techniques. They all have one common property – if you don’t have a set of clearly defined goals, you cannot control your life.
So, i haven’t decided yet which technique is better for me (right now i’m trying to practice GTD), but it’s seems like building list of goals is a good idea. And 43Things seems like a convinient application to do that.
