Write a book
I need to get the thoughts in my head out. I was published when I was 17 and then wrote two articles for a newspaper when I was 20. After that I stopped writing because of lack of motivation. I’m going to be 30 this month and have so many stories stuck in my head. I hope to find a friend who is willing to edit because I lack excellent grammar when it comes to my own work. I admit that this has held me back. I give up on being perfect and writing it all on my own. I’m ready to ask for help and accomplish this goal.

I feel like no matter how much I throw out there is still too much clutter! And I hate it when I think it’s safe to get rid of something and then I need it a week later. How do you know what to get rid of?

I’ve thought about Lasik for about 5 years now and am finally going to do it this year. I am super nervous! I can’t believe I will no longer have to wear glasses! I got my eyes dilated on the 30th and have the green light for surgery on January 14th. I just found out that the drops I need are going to cost $254! It’s called Restasis. My goal besides going through with Lasik is to find a CHEAPER source for the drops. If anyone has suggestions or links.. please share.

I’ve walked on the beach in Brooklyn, NY and in San Diego, CA during the winter months. The ocean is one of the most relaxing sounds in the world to me. It’s definitely worth bundling up and taking a walk on the beach any time of year. In San Diego, CA there’s more people since it’s warmer but in New York you’ll enjoy the quiet solitude that comes with the colder months. Here’s a photo I took on Christmas Day in La Jolla, Ca.

“The importance of getting enough sleep just can’t seem to be repeated enough times. The recovery time is just as crucial to your muscle as the nutritional part as well as the actual workout is.
Without the proper amount of sleep, the muscle will end up in a catabolic state, which means the muscle will break itself down during and after the exercise.
The body releases a lot of essential hormones for muscle recovery and muscle growth while we sleep. Without proper sleep, we cannot function for very long, not physically nor mentally. Our body is depleted of important nutrients such as vitamins and minerals, if we are sleep deprived.”

College Loans
I want to pay off my college loans in 2 years. I am going to school for my MBA so I have new loans coming in. This time I have reimbursement from my company if I get an A! I think I can definitely do it! Have to move to a cheaper apartment, already consolidated my car loan, and stopped eating out as much. As long as I get A’s I can keep paying my old debt and get a higher paying job when I’m done with my MBA.

I was able to do this with my partner and girlfriend. We now have a great business going selling cards, address labels and personalized luggage tags. Our wrists hurt so much from drawing consistently for months. Carpal Tunnel! We’ve relaxed now and add designs every week. The pain has gone! And we are so happy we took the risk.
