My Lauris comes over and we (well he) do-it ourselves.

After I purchased my house, we totally re-landscaped my yard, and put in a chain link fence with rock border in front.
We were going to do my privacy fence in back. But that was going to be experimental and I wanted that done right the first time (done professionally).

In back we relandscaped and my Lauris built me a potting bench and put up privacy lattice on my deck. “While I was Out” (at work) one Saturday, I came home to find that he’d created an outside water feature (aquarium with spitting dolphin and goldfish to boot), as well as built two huge planters on either side of my back yard Arbor. I was really impressed. He’d called me at work and told me I wasn’t allowed to come home, so I knew he was up to something. When I was allowed to come home, he was packing up his tools and mobile wood cutting equipment. It is definitely different then 2yrs ago.

I have been doing some in house projects, making my own Outlet covers and creating my own pictures for hanging.

My next project will be windows and wall coverings.

If he could just talk in plain english, it would help.

He makes these noises (grunts, growls, whimpering and such), each meaning something.

He doesn’t bark much, I tought him not to. Just say, “Shh, no bark” and let him see me put my index finger up to my lips. He quites down right in mid bark.

Yeah right! You gotta play the lottery to win.
