How I did it: A group of friends were checking this off their bucket lists Wanted to have a unique experience just before leaving college And hey, when in Rome Read how I did it…
How I did it: I worked hard and I did as much as possible. I had internships in my field and worked to demonstrate why I deserved to be there. I took classes that challenged me and helped me to become smarter all around. I took part in extracurricular activities to balance my school work and find new ways to learn. I landed an amazing internship and I worked like crazy from day one. Read how I did it…
I spent a week in Washington D.C. on a leadership conference my junior of high school and immediately fell in love. Ever since I have known that I want to return to our nation’s capital to work, even if only for a year. I feel like this is the perfect time to do it and I hope that I can find a entry level job position to take me there.
Whenever I walk anywhere listening to my ipod I constantly make up dances in my head to the song I’m listening to. I’ve been dancing since I was 6 years old so I’ve accumulated some dance experience and plenty of moves over the years. If it were socially acceptable to dance as I’m walking to class on the Quad I would definitely be in. When I see the ipod advertisements on television or pass a billboard on the street I think of what type of music I would listen to. I know that I could rock out just as hard as the silhouettes in the ads and am seriously considering looking to see if Apple does casting calls for them.
