yesterday was really hard. While standing in the kitchen preparing to put the dinner roles in the oven I started thinking about all of the things that was missing from the day. Every year for the past 13 years I have been with my little cousins and my aunts and uncle.Them not being there was hard. For weeks I kept thinking about how I really wanted to be spending the holiday with Daniel and to top it off, my macaroni was hard. I was not happy and I just stood there and cried. I could not explain to anyone what I was feeling because I was feeling so much. And because “I’m the minister” I had to pray for the dinner even thought I was in bad spirits. I made it through and I think I’m okay. 1 holiday down 2 more to go.

Every year I see people getting all dressed up and going out for a night on the town with their friends or someone that that they love. On my New Years Eve night I would like to get into a party dress and be picked up by a really cute guy. I want to go to a nice dinner and maybe a party and I want to have a kiss at mid-night. That may be asking for a lot and it does not have to go exactly like that but that would be ideal.

I have been sitting on this dream for to long.
