How I did it: I waited a long time for the perfect moment to go, and it finally occurred on my sister's 26th birthday. She decided she wanted to jump out of a plane, and I said, 'I'm in.' Before I knew it, I was signing my life away (literally) and was up in a plane, 10,000 feet in the air. DON'T jump alone your first time!
