I have been doing well with this, but it’s quite an easy goal to achieve in S.Africa as food prices are so good and there is an abundance of fresh fruit and veg. I’m worried that it is going to become a lot harder keeping this going in London and being on a student budget.
My partner will always have good quality food at his place, but I don’t really want to be living off him and his income. I need to put together a strategy; it must be possible to eat healthily in London and on a tight budget. I’m going to see if there are any markets near by, and aim to go at the end of the day when hopefully they are selling things off cheaper.

I’ve been accepted to Law school – This is a positive step towards a career and some sort of a stable future. Feels like a good fit, but I’m sure I’ll question the choice when the work starts to pile up. Compared to the amount of work I had to do in my philosophy degree, it is going to be epic.
I’m in a serious relationship; it is a gay inter-generational one, which after 23 years of living a heterosexual life is quite a change. This is a tough life choice and means my life will change drastically. But it feels right – I’m happy so i’ll take the risk and the public scorn.
So far I’ve had 5 lessons and it’s feeling good. I’m starting to get consistent direction and distance with my swing. Used the driver today and it kept pulling to the right, however I know what I’m doing wrong and hope to sort it out for the next lesson. I only have 5 lessons left before I leave the country and want to have a decent game by that time. Ambitious I know, but I think I can pull it off.
