I’m at 50,000, but I’ve kind of stalled. I know where I want the plot to go, but I’ve lost my map, and am now circling and circling rather than moving the story forward. I may have to leave the road altogether and find a new path.

It’s going to be a lot larger than I had planned, although an edit should pare down some of the excess. But it’s finally moving, and I think I can get a first draft done before x-mas.

First 13,000 words done. I’ve got the whole plot sketched out in my head, but as usual, getting it down on paper is the hard part.
