1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
I think I’d be my age; 18.
2.Which is worse, failing or never trying?
I’ve found that failing becomes easier over time, even rewarding, but the constant doubt that follows with the question “what if?” is excruciating.
3.If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
I think you learn over time to not do that. To make life worthwhile so that by the end you look back and have no regrets.
4.When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
Probably, but I’ll have done plenty as well :)
5.What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
Our ability to understand. To have some perspective.
6.If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
Living.
7.Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
I don’t really know what I believe in, I think I’m just going with the flow.
8.If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
I’m not sure that I would.
9.To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?
I have given up trying to have control. I leave it in the hands of the benevolent force and hope that it turns out for the best.
10.Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
Both, to a certain extent.
11.You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do?

12.If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?
Keep an open mind.
13.Would you break the law to save a loved one?
Hell yes.
14.Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?
I don’t think so. Maybe because I see a little bit of both in myself, I understand the dynamic.
15.What’s something you know you do differently than most people?
I’m willing to learn.
16.How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?
Because they have different priorities.

There’s lots of things I want to do, and I’m waiting to find people to do them with.
18.Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
Many things.
19.If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?
Holland. Besides the weed which, let’s admit it, is reason enough, I’d love to be independent in a country with barely any boundaries.
20.Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?
Nope.
21.Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?
Hahaha without sounding too cocky, I think I am a worried genius. it might be fun to experience the latter.
22.Why are you, you?
Isn’t that the question? I’ll let you know when I find out.
23.Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend?
I’ve tried, and no doubt failed.
24.Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you?
I move away from my friends often. I feel like even if we don’t keep in touch, we always leave things on good terms, unlike the slow growing apart thing.
25.What are you most grateful for?
Everything.
26.Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?
I’d kill myself before either happened.

Yes, with certain things, you just feel it.

Probably. I have lots of fears and try my best to face them regularly.

My sanity.
34.Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?
Yes.

Because the people that follow the religions don’t really understand them.
36.Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil?
Maybe, but I think it’s a very thin line.

Everyone, but I’d spent the most time with Noor and Alina and my sister and my dad.

my cousin noor has always been my best friend and my soul mate. her and my other cousin alina have always been a trio of best friends and always loved each other. it’s just that over the years, we seemed to grow apart, because of physical distance, and issued we’d been having. i moved back to Pakistan a year ago. it felt we’d lost the love we had for each other, or atleast, they had. it was a painful realization cuz the kind of relationship we had, i had never seen. it was truly extraordinary. but it felt different now. eventually though, i spent some time with them and we came to be just the way we were. i realized that the love was never lost, we’d just grown as people. but i still love them and they still love me more than anyone could ever imagine.
