when i was young I was careless, and didnt value people that I should have. I just didnt think it would matter later on in life… Now I’m older and feel a bit disconnected, like there are holes in my past. People and places where I have loads of memories that only those who were there could appreciate. I have some apologies I should make.. who knows if I will ever have the chance.

How I did it: I spent a few summers traveling the west coast with a few friends. Often there were no stars to remember sleeping under... however a few nights are fabulous memories... where I first saw shooting stars in arizona, and woke up cold at 3am in california to see only stars above me....I havent done this for a while... I would love to go sleep under the stars on the mesa... away from the city lights ... this is something I would love to … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I got an A in drivers ed.... but flunked the drivers test 2 times, the second time I swore while parallel parking and told the lady that I hated the stick shift we were in... she erased some of the marks on the testing form and gave me my license anyways.... yeah I still cant parallel park. I tried doing this “back home” unsuccessfully… it was a very trying experience… not a good setup, not enough knowledge, etc.
Now we live in a rental that is all off the grid, and though it isnt ours, it is fabulous… we love that we dont have “real” bills for water, electric, etc. Totally worth it… Now we just have to figure out how to buy land and make our own home off the grid. baby steps.
