MY QUESTION: I’m Catholic, and I’m looking for a good self-study program for reading / studying the Bible in an organized fashion from cover to cover.

27. donate blood three times a year
1 entry . 1 cheer1 person
According to the American Red Cross, reasons to donate blood include the following:
1. 1 blood donation can help save up to 3 lives.
2. Probability someone you know will need a transfusion: 97%.
3. Only 5% of eligible donors actually give blood.
4. Every 2 seconds, someone in America needs blood.
My own additions:
1. If your blood type has a “B” in its name (examples: B+, B-, AB+, AB-), you have a relatively rare type of blood, and the need for your blood is even greater.
2. I donate in February, June, and October. It provides blood in the summer (when it’s in short supply) and avoids the Christmas / New Year holiday rush.
Donate blood!
I work in a fast-paced office environment featuring interruptions by the minute. Long hours. Caffeine in the air. Type A personalities abound. MY TWO QUESTIONS: (a) Do any of you have any success stories to share about “meditating daily” to give me hope? (b) Do any of you have any useful tips for working meditation into your life when your work / home schedule changes every day? Thanks in advance for any encouragement!
