So I went up to New York again for Thanksgiving, and realized I had forgotten to count it as a state I’ve visited. One more down!

I met Momus in NYC, and he was nice enough to sign my copy of ID Magazine. What a fantastic writer, performer, thinker and all-around guy.
Last night: a whirlwind visit to New York City. Caught Momus’ only US show this year. It was FANTASTIC. I loved the city, and now I’ll have to visit again soon. It was a little overwhelming, but nowhere near as scary and unmanageable as I thought it would be.
I’m going to Momus’ only US show this year. This the best chance I’m going to have to meet him. Hopefully it works out!
Started a new diet plan that is totally making a difference. Excellent! I need to start lifting again soon.
Been in 2nd place for a while, about 2.5 points back. It could be a close finish. Runs, homers and stolen bases will be crucial categories. I’ve been hanging in there lately due largely to strong performances by Robinson Cano and David Wright.
Did a 193 about a month ago. New high game. Consistently knocking down the 160s now … just need to string strikes together better.
So something just kind of clicked a couple of weeks ago, and somehow barre chords are all fine and dandy with me now. I still need to learn some scales, so I can work my way down a few frets … ah well, I’m still happy with the progress.
I hadn’t checked on this one for a while, but it turns out I’ve only got 5 more pounds to go. I joined a soccer league this semester, no doubt that’s helping.
I’ve got the chord changes down between some of the basic chords, like g, c, d, e, and a … b is tricky, and I can barely even play f. Trying to stretch my fingers for those bar chords is tough.
Bowled two consecutive 163s tonight. At least that’s a sign that I’m throwing more strikes …
Well, I still think it’s possible I could get A’s or A-’s in legal writing and civil procedure, but I don’t feel good about my torts exam at all. I think I’m looking at a B or maybe worse. Contracts is still coming up, and I think I can ace that one. It’s so hard to predict these exam grades, though …
Since coming to law school, I’ve added New Jersey and Delaware to my list. That makes … 18, I think. Excellent.
I bowled 8 games the other day, with an average of 141 and a high of 187 … if I had just been able to get that last strike, 200 would have been within reach. I’ll try again next week!
I may be studying abroad at Oxford this summer, in which case I will definitely visit London. I’m quite excited about the prospect.
Going to go up to NYC in January, just have to arrange the dates and times. I’m already really excited about seeing MoMa and PS1, and shopping at Zakka. Going to take a lot of pictures, I hope.
I’m counting A-minuses in this one. It’s possible I could get straight A’s under that relaxed standard. Unsure about my legal writing memo, but all signs about torts, civ pro and contracts are good!
