Done! 3 hours ago

Absolutely 100% done! Last night I had a shoot where I was selling direct to the public – shoot, preview on laptop, choose prints and hand over cash.

I came away with a small wodge of real cash at the end of it, and a bunch of print orders to start processing.

If this isn’t selling my photography, I don’t know what is!

I loved every minute of it, despite not finishing until about 1am and then starting the 70-minute drive home. The people I worked with were lovely… some just wanted a quick snap and to get out of there, but others (like those pictured) went through a few poses and had some nice results.

#48 Blackburn with Darwen – 456m Winter Hill

A lovely area, we parked in a country park and took the path out of it before climbing a smaller peak of “Two Lads” before making the easy ascent to Winter Hill TV transmitter and the summit trig point.

Then on to Rivington pike via an interesting walk through the scariest bogs I’ve visited yet – the sort where the part you’re walking on drops by 30cm when you stand on it, and a place 2m to your side rises by the same amount – very thin ground on top of very wet peat!

Then through the terraced gardens of Rivington country park and back to the car. A great walk!
