own my business
3 years of my life

Did you know 95% of all small business never make it through the 2 year period? Mine has been one of those statistics. Many small business owners made a fatal mistake by not paying themselves enough. It’s the same mistake I made. I was living under the proverty line for those 3 years, even though the company had more than 5 million dollars in sales.

Even though I lost so much, I still think it was a worthy experience.

sell my car
Sold my Jetta

Cars are the worst depreciating liability you can own. I brought my Jetta in 2001 for $27000, including Tax, and sold it for $11000 in 2006. It’s almost $3000 a year depreciation. Plus gas? Insurance? I was stupid to own two cars at once.
