There is no such thing as good enough. This applies to guitarists, security guards, marine biologists, and sculptors. If you are performing your task with complete mindfulness and purity of purpose, don’t be surprised or embarrassed if you accidentally burst into a ball of white light. It happens.

This is a worthwhile and challenging goal, but I must say that I’m including it because I want to mark something as completed! I like my list, but it seems a little daunting.
My (wonderful) Mom died on Jan. 7, ‘08 and this year has been one of the darkest in my life. There’s a certain symmetry to allowing myself one year of mourning, and I really mean to see the Sun again. The World never stopped being beautiful and amazing, and I miss feeling a part of it.
May your parents live forever.
