my school is having a blood drive this Wednesday. A perfect opportunity for me to get off my butt and do this. Ahh I am so so so spooked about needles though. It irks me to the core. The last (and only) time I gave blood, I nearly fainted at the end (I’m a big fainter) and definitely did throw up. I don’t think there is any physical reason why I shouldn’t be fit to donate, but it’s a big psychological hurdle. I marked my calender, though, and I’m going to try and suck it up and do it. It is such an important thing to do.
Moral support, anyone?

My sister's maid
I was on of my older sister’s bridesmaids at her wedding this July. I’m really not a wedding sort of person so the whole thing was kind of bizarre and baffling to me, but it was a nice ceremony and it was everything she wanted it to be, so it was worth it.
I did it!

I moved out of my parents’ house on August 24th – almost one month ago. It is so wonderful let me tell you. I moved in with strangers who actually turned out to be totally cool, and living with them has been incredibly easy and enjoyable. Now I can live-in reality-the way I had been living in my head for so long.
Of course, living alone would be better, in a lot of ways, than living with roommates, but I think I prefer this way regardless, because at least I do not get lonely.
