How I did it: First I recognized that I was overweight and needed to do something. My doctor told me that I was pre diabetic and tried to put me on medication and that was a major wake up call. These are things I did to lose weight.1.I switched to diet soda first- I eventually stopped drinking it all together2. Began eating nothing but raw fruits and vegetables with 6 oz of grilled chicken daily. 3. Bought a balance ball and sat on it when I watched te… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I originally tried this because I was extremely overweight and thought that it might help. I lost 40lbs in one month and kept it all off. First I researched a little about the raw food lifestyle. I went strictly for foods I did not have to prepare any further than peeling or chopping. I ate a lot of bananas. mangos, carrots, avocados, cucumbers, apples et cetera. I loved the ease with which I could eat food. No prep, very little cleanup a… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I made up my mind to stop eating gluten. My boyfriend has Celiac Disease and I have a lot of food sensitivities. He suggested that I try a gluten free diet. I no longer have stabbing pains in my stomach when I eat. It's also conven… Read how I did it…

I need a change! I’ve been shaving my head for the past couple of years. Even though my current hair cut looks cute, I really miss being able to have pig tails. I’m going to grow it out for a little while!
I bought a bike the other day so I could go ride trails with my boyfriend and his roommate while I’m visiting.
We’re in a cool little area of town where there is a ton of stuff that is reasonably easy and safe to access on a bike. I must say I’ve only put 12 miles on my car in the week and a half I’ve been here versus the 200-300 I would have put on at home.
I’ve been biking to anything that is within 5 miles of the house.
I hope I can keep this up when I get home!
Also this is a really bike friendly town and I can’t wait to move here!
