about how birth control pills can destroy the libido and even contribute to depression, and I thought that since I have been on the pill pretty much since the Girl was born . . . which would be 21 years . . . and I was on it for a few years before that. Anyhow, I think it’s time to try something else. I was reading an article on IUDs and was considering that as an option, but when I went to the medical insurance web site to make sure that IUDs were covered (they are), I also saw that tubal ligations are covered at 100% after the copay. I don’t know why a tubal ligation never occurred to me, but at this point, I am leaning towards it because it is permanent. Let’s face it – the Girl is 21 years old, so I sure as hell am not planning to have more children at this point in my life. I am also older than 30 (which, in my mind, was always my “cut off” point for having more if I wanted to do so), so I think it is a realistic option to consider. I’m going to call Monday and make an appointment with my gyno to discuss the pros and cons of tubal ligation vs. IUD and see which sounds like the better option at that point. So, we shall see.

without any help from Hubby, I might add. I need to go through the EOBs and write down the necessary charges, so that I can not only send one to Traveler’s, but also to our medical insurance company. Otherwise, I have all of the medical records now. I also obviously have to contact the guy regarding the settlement on the car (since it is a separate thing) and confirm the settlement amount and an address to which I need to send the signed title. I’m pretty sure that I know where the title is located (crossing fingers). With any luck, this may be over by the end of the month. Pretty please, send hopeful and good luck thoughts my way on this one. I’m tired of it.
This will likely have to wait
