This is one of those things worth doing once in your life. I’m a vegetarian and a pacifist so…There isn’t really much practicallity in learning to shoot a gun for me personally, but I still have the target with the bullseye from my 2nd round!

I work in a local grocery chain’s “Country Bakery”. I really hate my job. I spend five to eight hours a day catching greasy, fried (from a purchased batter—homemade my ass) doughnuts off of a conveyer belt. It is the single most boring, and unsatisfying job i’ve ever had. Sure it’s only a summer job, but the idea of spending 2 more month’s there makes me physically ill. Actually, the idea of putting in my resignation and spending two more weeks there makes me physically ill.
Sigh… I’ve been on an application binge for the last 3 months and haven’t gotten so much as a phone call back. This is getting ridiculous. I applied to a mid-size grocery store last week, a friend did the same just minutes later. This place has more than one opening, so we figured our chances of getting hired were even. We have the same amount of experience (...none…)and are the same age, are both your average, teenage, white female, and I am fairly certain I’m more outgoing than she is.
She got called the next day, got an interview and got the job. I didn’t even get a call. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me. What can I be doing that is so fundamentally wrong on these apps?
