Yesterday I did the first day of the couch to 5K running program – I used to run, and started running using this program. I haven’t been running in more than a year, and so I think I need to start very slow… Exercize in the morning makes me feel more confident – and a big part of beauty is confidence :)
And today I am wearing pretty underthings.
to try and write one thing I’ve done every day this week towards this goal. Sunday night … I am drinking leek soup (a la French Women Don’t Get Fat) for dinner, and will take a bath or a shower and go to bed at a reasonable time. Rested women are beautiful women… :)
I am using Craigslist to help me continue with this goal. This is more of an ongoing thing effort, rather than an endpoint-type goal. I have recently..
- bought both a bed frame and new mattress on Craigslist, rather than buying new, so that I can sleep better and make my bedroom more attractive
- allowed myself to buy a fresh bouquet of flowers every other week, which I break up into individual vases throughout the apartment. This makes my apartment feel fresh and alive to me
- worked on reducing food waste – I live alone, and will often buy more groceries than I need for the week and end up trashing left-overs that go bad, or food that I never even get around to cooking – I am trying to figure out how to balance having enough food in the fridge to cook so I don’t order take-out with not having so much in the fridge that it goes to waste! This is a tough one.
