How I did it: I started small... one class at a time! I work monday thru friday (50 hours a week!) So i have my weekends free for classes. Thank God my local college offers a Sat/Sun class. I'm not sure what I'm going to do for next semester but I'm not there yet. I'm here. And happy! Go me! Read how I did it…
there are things that are against my natural habits. but things that i have to do to recover: reach out to other people, be honest, be helpful, become less self-centered, take care of myself.
this is going to be essential for my well-being. now, and forever.
did one “racing for recovery” in my honor last year.
this year, i want to do it.
its june 8th. 7 weeks away.
i can swim for miles…but the part that scares me: not in a pool, I don’t know how long/far i can bike, and 4 miles of running after ALL of that?! Whew.
is it too soon, i wonder?
