I haven’t even gotten to five.. in fact, the most I’ve done is three, and that was half walking. But yesterday I walked fifteen miles—I was amazed at myself for not getting tired (I didn’t sit down and I just kept on going for eight hours!) .. it’s weird cuz when I run, my toes hurt. My foot’s shaped weirdly, I need to buy more comfortable shoes. My toenails are also weird, even though I clip them, they dig into my skin. It’s freaky and annoying.

How I did it: I'd wanted to do it for years-- since high school at least-- but back then, I said I'd do it when I turned 30. Then, I said I'd do it before I turned 30-- 29. Then, I said I'd do it when I graduated college. Then, I said I'd do it on my birthday... and I did!Part of the impetus for me to do it now was that I'd read all the testimonials on 43things on how empowering and liberating it was. (Thanks, 43things!) Two of my friends have als… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I've had this goal for FOUR years.First year, I joined track but didn't really feel passionate about running when I was told what to do.Second and third year, I ran occasionally. Maybe fewer than 5 times each year.Fourth year (this one!)... halfway through, I actually stuck to it and started running again. And LOVED it. And I am happy to run.I'd still been procrastinating on this goal, though. I felt there was a threshold I had to pass. O… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I'm realizing today that I can check "Live my dreams" off of my list. Most of the things on my list are vague and wishy-washy anyway, but I realize now that I AM living my dreams. My most basic want, desire, wish in life was simply to be happy. I'm happy. Now I can move on to bigger, greater things. I won't leave this world untarnished (I use the word "tarnish" in the most positive of ways). Read how I did it…
