How I did it: I've been Vegan for about 10 years now and so I've collected and created quite a few recipes. Essentially I just gathered some of my favorites and asked a few friends to contribute their own. Whenever I went thrifting I looked for vintage cookbooks to use as background images for each recipe. How I did it: Essentially, I just went to the library and wrote down a few pickling recipes and copied all the safety precautions. I then went to the store and bought the jars. I pickled carrots today and they will be ready in 2 weeks! They have a shelf life of 3 months without being refrigerated (they have no preservatives, unlike commercial pickles, and therefore have a shorter shelf life.)
