i saw them last night, really late. i was already in bed, but my husband called me from work and told me to go outside. i couldnt see them from my house, so i jumped in my car in my pajamas and drove until i could see them. it was so beautiful. flares of green ribbons streaked across the sky, dancing into oranges and reds, and fading back into night. it was a spiritual moment for me. very cool

i love camping. but my husband is so anti-dirt. he can never stand to set anything on the ground, or get anything dirty. he has to shower every day. he loves camping, but he cant stay out for more than one night. you go camping for the purpose of not having to worry about that stuff. i have to cure him of this insanity
so worth it! i ski. and ski. and ski. and i love to ski. but one day i wanted to snowboard, so i rented a snowboard and learned how… i did it everyday for a week. it was sooo painful, and sooo much fun. im still a dedicated ski bum, but sometimes i strap on the board and hit the slopes with my boarder husband. even though i love skiing so much more, i think ALL skiiers should learn how to board, to better thier appreciation of the ‘other side of the hill’ and donut pillows.
