The moment my son was born and they handed him to me and I stared into his tiny little face, I said “he’s perfect”. And he was. He looked just like I imagined him to look. It’s a surreal feeling once you’re finally holding the child you’ve been carrying for ten whole months. The moments until he was born are blurry in my memory because of the medication I was on, but i remember vividly holding him and saying that he was perfect. :)

How I did it: My new years resolution was to eat healthier and drink more water. To exercise and try to eat as much natural and organic foods as possible. It's been life changing to say the least. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I love making lists so this was fun. It made me more aware of how thankful I am and how many blessings I have in my life. Just make a list of things you're thankful for that make you happy in your everyday life! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I used to salt everything. now, instead of salting things WHILE I cook them AND after, I just salt during cooking. I've grown used to the taste without as much salt. Go me! Read how I did it…

It would be impossible to list everything you remember about someone that was in your life at one time but are no longer, for whatever reason. But I remember. I remember everything. So many random facial expressions and smiles that he had no idea would be etched in my memory forever. Nervous habits, his Northern accent that I would tease him about. All the stupid mistakes that I made, I remember it all. Six years later it seems like it’s been no time at all. I can still see his face and his hands and remember exactly the way he would look at me. Like no one before or since.
I know that I’ll always carry those memories with me. They’re precious to me and I think about them often
I got a cabbage patch doll for Christmas when I was 3. I have taken that doll absolutely everywhere. She was my most favorite toy in the whole world. I still have her, in my room, in the orignial outfit she came with. I’ve always wanted to keep her incase I have a little girl I can pass her on to. I have really great memories playing with her. I’ve sown her arms back on quite a few times and her face is a little stained from all the spaghetti o’s I tried feeding her, but she’s still special to me.
