A friend betrayed my trust and devastated my family. Initially I was very angry at all involved. I withdrew from the situation (physically anyway) and eventually realized that I still wanted the best for them and hoped they could be happy in their lives. I found that though the situation was incredibly painful at the time it strengthened my faith in Jesus and my prayer life. In fact, I can face these people today and be happy to see them!
