Went on a day date with my sweetie this weekend at the Science Museum. Can’t wait to go back and see it again, we weren’t able to cover everything. The exhibits were timely and well put together. There was a digital exhibit on the art of medical imaging that was fascinating. An exhibit on the work of scientists at MIT who are trying to harness the power of spinach as a new energy source. But my favorite was on the search for extraterrestials. Aliens.

One of the nurses who I do payroll for does research and sees patients in the hospital on rounds. She offerred to let me hang out with her for a day. Very generous. I believe I will take her up on it.
We had a stroke of bad luck including serious health problems and both of us unemployed. But I know we could have made better decisions. Getting out of debt will be very difficult, especially while my partner is in school. But we have a plan that I think will work. Car will be paid off in one more year and we will half our credit card debt in a few months with one whopping payment. Then it’s just discipline and humbleness that will get us through.
