Went for my first bouldering session

Had a decent time, the other beginner in my class was a nice older lady. I’m wondering if I should lose some weight before doing this too seriously, it would be less to drag up the wall! I have two more passes left so we’ll see if I can get to it before the end of the year.

i started a new HIIT (high intensity interval training) program which really feels like it will be something i can stick with. It’s 12 minutes a day, which is 100% doable and doesn’t leave me too sore or tired to do additional activities I enjoy when I have the time (like rock climbing or dance or hiking).

So far, I’ve lost 2 lbs in a week and a 1/2 or so, but some of that is definitely period bloat, so I don’t want to be too optimistic.

Goal is to get this done by the end of the year.

Turns out there are tons of places to get your baking on here in the Bay Area. I found some courses and will be signing up as soon as I get paid next month:
