Grand Canyon

Leave aside a whole day for this. The canyon, if you aren’t already aware, is huge! There are many stops you can make at different view points throughout the canyon. So if you don’t stop at every single one, don’t get upset about it. There’s plenty to see but take your time and soak it all in!

Visiting Williamsburg was delightful. The shop keeps were some of my favorite people to visit. There were a few museums my family really enjoyed and in general, the atmosphere of the town is one to be experienced.

I went scuba diving through a cruise I went on and it was an amazing experience. Once you get your mind wrapped around the fact that you have to breathe through your mouth out of this one hole, you’re good to go. And the view is amazing!

Going skydiving was amazing. You feel like a bird on the coast down after you pull the rip cord.
The free fall was a little uncomfortable for me. I wouldn’t go again but it’s definetly worth going to once.

As I write this, I’m laying in my bed on a Sunday morning without any pressure to get out of bed, or anyone bustling around loudly and waking me up. And when I walk out of my room, maybe I have to go do the dishes my roommate and I made last night, but at least their mine and not 4 people’s worth of dishes.
Living in my own apartment, separate from my family has been amazing. I love my family but there comes a certain age where you need to be independent. Wait for the right time and jump in. If you’re not ready, don’t push yourself. My boyfriend pushed himself and had a horrible first apartment experience. He never wanted to be there and spent most of his time at his parents place.
Good luck!

I had fun doing this. I don’t know that I’d do it again. It’s very expensive but it was a great experience!

I was so skeptical because of all the hype for Harry. BUT some of the best books I’ve ever read. And totally keep you enthralled. Highly recommend!

I donated my hair to locks of love twice. It was gratifying for me to cut it all off at once. They send you a nice little certificate and although I wish I could say the practical aspects of my donation, like them making a wig for someone specific, I understand they get tremendous amounts of donations and it’s impossible to track. Do it if for now other reason than to help someone!

Although that dating world sucks, you have to kiss a lot of frogs. And though it’s cliche, it’s completely true. I’m with someone I don’t think I would’ve pictured myself with but dates a lot of assholes to figure out the kind of guy I should be with as opposed to some fantasy I’ve had drolled up in my head. It sucks but get out there and you’ll eventually bump into someone who suits you at the time…and maybe for all time…

My one and only cruise was amazing! I would definetly reccommend it. Though I probably wouldn’t go again cause there are so many other things and places I want to do, it’s definetly worth it to try it once.

Not so much. I’ve had one for four years and it’s no better or worse than a desktop. I’ve taken it hardly anywhere, even when I was in college. And the battery life on it kinda sucks.

Truth or dare is awesome and a great way to kill time. Especially on long car trips with friends!

I had such an amazing experience swimming with the dolphins. We all got to kiss the dolphins. I was next to last. I kiss Sally once. The instuctor says, “Ok! One more time!” So I kiss her again. The instructor blows his whistle to call her back and she doesn’t budge! She wants another one! So I kisss her again, the instuctor blows his whistle. She still doesn’t budge. I gave her four kisses total. Then Sally goes back over to the instuctor, and I hear him laughing saying to her, “What, you’re not listening to me anymore?” It was so amazing!

College was a beneficial experience and certainly was an education but more an education on how the world is as opposed to my supposed career of choice. On the contrary, I found out what I don’t want to do for the rest of my life. Took me four years and about 50,000 dollars but I guess some people have to do things the hard way.
Don’t rush into college. If you need to work for a year or two or more to figure out what you really want to do, do it. Make college an enjoyable experience, one filled with experiences gaining knowledge that you know you’ll use in your life. Don’t just go for the sake of going and find yourself at a loss four years later.

For all of you looking to lose weight, I lost 65 pounds from the ages of 17 to 20. I began going to weight watcher meetins when I was coming upon my high school graduation and found myself at 137 pounds my junior year of college. I started at 204 as a girl of 17 years old, 5’4.
Losing weight was hard but maintaining it has been much harder. I’ve gained about 10 back but I will say this: I’m so much happier with myself now. Not that I’m completely satisfied with the way I look (cause I go to the gym and am always a little jealous of the girls with no hips), but I’m healthy. I know loads about nutrition, the food pyramid, excersizing, and how to keep my body healthy in the long run, which is important to me.
Lastly, know this. I was NEVER afraid to do anything because of my weight. I was always a social butterfly, doing every activity I could, (I repelled down a rock wall at my heaviest weight!) and being typical outgoing and chipper me. Don’t let your weight stop you from living your life. Weight is just a physical state that should not influence your mental state and the actions you take in your life. Of course I have more confidence in the actions I take now but while you’re on your weight loss journey, don’t be afraid to do anything. People are attracted to confidence more than anything else.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need any encouragment. I’m a great cheerleader!
