How I did it: The key is to keep at it. I left college after three years of failure and thought I would never go back. I started college again, was doing well, and then crashed and burned yet again. The second time I left college, I thought that I would never get another chance to finish. But I went back yet again and finally finished it. The key is to just keep trying. This is my last semester! I just need to get through these courses and I’ll graduate this May!
1. I cry easily during movies
2. I have better taste in entertainment than mainstream america
3. I am laid-back and easy to please
4. I laugh easily
5. I didn’t lie to get out of jury duty
6. I can kind of cook. Was able to pull off a nice Thanksgiving dinner, complete with homemade cornbread and a complete turkey.
7. I like to explain things. Maybe people don’t like that about me, but I enjoy teaching people how to cook certain dishes, or give tours of different areas.
8. That I am a complete nerd, but do not lack social skills (in my mind, at least, lol)
9. That I am not a griefer, but would rather try to help people.
10. I value life.
11. I am polite, not rude or a brat like some of the monsters I see running around these days. =P
12. I can write a well-thought, logical, understandable statement (unlike some of the posts I see in some forums)
13. I give good censored (I do!)
14. That I had a rough life. While, I have many regrets, and of course, wish things were easier, I at least enjoy that I have bragging rights on hard times. So I guess that is its own reward. I can appreciate what I have now.
15. I have a wonderful partner. At first, I wasn’t going to put this in, but I guess I like that I can keep him around =)
16. That I am a crazy hippie liberal
17. Someone today looked at my notes in class and said “you call those notes? I don’t understand how you do so well in class!” So, I guess I like that I pick things up quickly.
18. And that I don’t ask stupid questions in class.
19. I play to win, but realize that the point of the game is to have fun.
20. I am a good GM
a few more things added to the list. it’s not much, but i’m making progress. ;)
