I am purchasing my first DLR camera, a Canon Xsi. I’m going to have fun learning how to use it over the Thanksgiving Holiday.

I first visited the City when I met my now husband and wanted to go and visit him. We had the time of our life going all around Times Square and club hopping.
Now that we’re married and live in Phily we go to NYC at least once per month. My husband’s mother still lives in Brooklyn so we always have a free place to stay in her three story brownstone.
I STILL haven’t seen a play on broadway or really any of the tourist spots. That’s next!
Well, I used to dabble in writing in high school and lately it seems I have a poem in my head that I can’t get out.
So, I’ve decided to resume writing. I hope to write a poem for my mother and mother-in-law by next May. That’ll be Mother’s Day and gives me plenty of time. I can frame the poems in a collage frame with some photographs.
I think they would both like it.
