I have given up on finishing this book, for time being. Its helpful because it does gives lot of insights on AJAX, but I found the book to be too verbose, and secondly I have to improve my Javascript knowledge.
It helps in getting quickly started with Rails. I have now moved on to other books and reading more about Rails in the blogosphere.
