The past couple of weeks I have been handing out resumes and sending resumes online like crazy. I have bugged everyone I know that might be able to help me get a job. I have humbled myself and applied for jobs I would normally not apply for and yet I still have no success. I’m worried that i might not have money for the school year.

How I did it: I was 21 when I first did my paper test. Then I was about 22 when I got my G2 which allowed my to drive locally. Then my G test was due. I don't have a car and my family is really stingy about letting me drive their cars,so for a couple of years i've had like no practise whatsoever. Needless to say I was really not prepared to take my final G test. I took so many lessons and it cost me a fortune. I fail… Read how I did it…
How I did it: One day i finally got some money and i said if its ever going to happen the time is now. I dont want to be like "should have, would have, could have" So i booked my ticket...and since i could not get refund on the ticket, i just basically was forced to save up for the the rest of the trip and i somehow did it. How I did it: I was 15 when i dropped out. Then at 22 I had no job, no money, no education and no future prospects. I realized I had to go back. I can't run away from it any longer, every turn was a deadend. It all went back to not having an education. When I went back it was really discouraging, because I was probably the oldest and because it was all the same HS BS again. Surprisingly most of the teachers … Read how I did it…

I got my first interview as a reception/admin. I am excited to finally break out of retail. I can;t wait.
I am taking French for my elective courses in school. I am allowed a total of 6 elective courses. Plus then I am going to take a “French Business Vocab” course which will help me to use my business skills in Quebec. Yay I am getting to my goal of speaking French.
Also my Conversational French CD came in. I’m trying to make it a habit of reviewing it at least once a day. The strange part about it is when i read the text, i can understand what is being said, but when i listen to it…i can only catch one or two words. Its going to take along time for me to speak french fluently…but I am excited about the journey just as I am with the end result.
