Well my weight-loss journey is now into it’s 5th year and I’m still 3 stone from my goal weight. But I am sticking with it. I’ve lost weight before and I can again. I’ve got the whole “new school year” feeling going on – fresh start, new goals etc. By this time next year, I hope to have reached my goal weight.

How I did it: Just read an amazing post here - http://zenhabits.net/2009/01/the-single-secret-to-making-2009-your-best-year-ever/#comment-57213. Made me realise that happiness is right here, right now. It's great to have goals, but once there are achieved, it's even better to have new ones, to keep moving forward. You just need to believe. Read how I did it…
I have a discovered a fantastic way to keep a journal – write just one sentence a day. I’ve bought a pretty hard-back notebook and have committed to writing one sentence about each day. Because it’s only one sentence, this book will last me for years and prove a wonderful record of my life. One day I might graduate to writing more, but for now just a little is fine for me.
For more about one sentence journals see here The Happiness Project
I’ve already lost 1½lbs since Christmas. Only works out at 1½lbs a week. For every pound I lose, I’m putting £1 aside. So 20lbs = £20 = new charm for my Pandora bracelet!
