It will include a library with double French doors, chaise lounges, long flowing curtains (for the cold) opening onto a stone patio leading out and down to the grasses and reinstalled native prairie. How I did it: It was a gift from my employer's son whom went to Germany with his family when the wall came down. I was (nominally) important in the life of a child. Read how I did it…
An everyday influence. Being kind to strangers. Listening to others. Noticing the little things like picking up trash around a park or on the sidewalk. The best is influencing and encouraging children. Not just your own, but, their friends. You know you have it right when other children gravitate to you because of your openness, enthusiasm, different way of thinking. Being a foster parent would be wonderful, but, I can’t be “on” for a surprise inspection because the genius of teaching children is letting them and helping them follow what they are curious about, to the point that you’re still in your pajamas “learning” at dinner time. My most important contribution is that I have been important in the life of a child, whom has influenced others in kind.
I already know how to crochet and sew. I’ve made quilts, crocheted blankets, hooked rugs. I want to learn how to knit so that I may use the material I really love, the designs and patterns that are beautiful, etc…
