I'm doing 38 things
There’s been a small delay in my plans. I played around a month ago or so… trying to learn the chords and whatnot. The song “Hallelujah” is first on my list of songs to learn… we’ll see. There’s a piano in the R&R of my med school, so hopefully I’ll find some time to play around with it.

How I did it: Basically I just watched some videos of Jackson impersonators doing it online, and mimicked the steps that they showed. The hardest part is getting the toe push right... after that step it rolls right along. Leather soled shoes make it a lot easier, too. Read how I did it…

Well, I lerned to play the Piano Man in about 3 minutes. Or should I say, the intro to it, ha. Harmonica seems to be a really fun instrument to play around with, not too difficult to string some notes together and find something vaguely musical coming out of it.
Next stop: audition for Blues Traveler.
Got my first acceptance to med school last week! Talk about total relief… I just shrugged a 300-pound-pipe-swingin’ monkey off my back, and it feels great.
Here’s to 7 months doing anything I want, before I have 10 years of doing nothing of my own volition. Yay.
