I ended up losing weight rather unhealthfully, I’m afraid, by becoming stressed out while I was moving to a new apartment and I really didn’t do much eating or sleeping. (Moving is kind of traumatic for me—more so than it is for most people, I think.) But once it was all over and I realized I’d hit 97 pounds, I figured I might as well do something to stay that way since actually losing weight is a lot tougher than maintaining it once it’s lost. After the move was over and the stress more or less abated, I just tried to pay attention to portion sizes, not eat when I’m not hungry, and get more exercise. It helps that my new apartment has tennis courts and I have a good opponent to play with several times a week. It helped to keep track of what I was eating just to see what it was adding up to, too. I like the way my clothes fit now and how my energy level and comfort has changed, and I hope I can maintain this lifestyle indefinitely. Good luck to those who also have this goal!

No longer interested in growing nails
Well, I grew my nails and didn’t have a problem keeping them that way as long as I kept clear polish on them, but because I type and do other things that have nails getting in the way, I decided I prefer to have short ones. But I tried it and found I didn’t want it in the first place. Such is life.
Well, not exactly

I received as a gift something that is better than an iPod—it’s the Zen Touch one by Creative and it holds more songs so that’s what my friend got me. :)
