We did a benefit last year for two childre. Andrew Ward had an inoperable brain tumor and Kaycee Dankert has an incurable neurological disorder. I agree to shave my head to a mohawk if we raised $1000 in a jar and would shave my entire head for $2000. Well…we raised $3500 in that jar and my head got shaved. At first I couldn’t believe I was doing it. I mean my hair! But then while it was being shaved at the benefit, in front of everyone, Andrew’s grandma came up and hugged me and thanked me for what I was doing for their family. She asked if she could keep a lock of my hair to remind her of my sacrifice for her little grandson that I did not know. That moment changed my life forever. Andrew passed a week later.
Wow! I forgot I was even on this site! It has been so long. But yeah, I got a new tattoo since I wrote this. It is a naked faerie on leaves. I got it put on my lower back. I love it!
