I have always wanted to go to the ballet. I am intrigued by it and have always thought it would be a singularly entertaining and cultural experience. One of my close friends happens to love ballet and so we have purchased tickets to a ballet production of Moulin Rouge. I got the tickets in the mail yesterday and I’m so excited. 3 months away!

How I did it: Through my sorority, there are many opportunities to join recreational sports teams but I had never taken advantage of it before. The list came around with the teams (hockey, volleyball, basketball, futsal, etc etc) and I chose volleyball. I had never been very good at volleyball (actually at sports at all) but some of my friends were playing and it seemed like a good way to try something totally random. I showed up on the first day and h… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I researched places to go in my area. We ended up driving four hours but it was worth it. We booked our trip several weeks in advance just to be sure that we would have a spot and then we went! Read how I did it…
I have been wanting to learn to play the guitar for a long time. I took lessons somewhere around grade 9/10 but it got in the way of other things and so I quit. However, my boyfriend has just moved home and didn’t have room to take his guitar with him so I have a guitar sitting in my house. Perhaps this is an opportunity for me to finally learn to play an instrument! We’ll see how it goes.
After one of my bouts of incessant crying and a very kind friend attempting to help me through it, I decided to make a list of things that make me happy. ANYTHING. Little things, big things, whatever. Just things that make me smile and make my day a little brighter. The list is currently at 86 things. My goal is 100.
