To listen to them,to love them..yes..unconditionally. To teach them something new everyday and not forget that you are learning too. I’m never too far away that they should miss me for too long. I’m willing to let them feel independent in some ways but always step in when they need to be guided.
I remind them that we all make mistakes and that it’s always the best thing to say “I’m sorry”. I have developed a trust and a bond that cements our hearts together forever.

How I did it: As a young teen my older sister would pass down her Glamour and Vogue magazines for me to read...or more like _devour_. She also supplied me with endless amounts of cosmetics due to the big "free gift with purchase" trend back in the '80's.Captivated by the images I saw on those pages, I would try and duplicate the looks on myself and then soon after any willing participant I could find.I started doing makeup for all… Read how I did it…
How I did it: It started with a conversation...I was talking with an actor friend of mine about the mechanics of movie making and I thought to myself..."I can write a screenplay." I had always been an exceptional writer in school,(so my teachers told me) and I had won some awards.I thought it would be like telling a story. Once I got started I fell into it. My first time out I chose a genre that I wasn't exactly familiar with however..it was a cri… Read how I did it…
I keep saying I’m going to do it and now that time has come. For the longest I have worked as a makeup artist and involved myself in the film industry, now I want to transition to screenwriter. With that said I’ve written my first two feature screenplays this summer.I thought that was the hard part…not even close. It takes more than just what the “writer” thinks is good material to sell it. In order to gain more exposure,to get a decent agent, to find a production company willing to fund the film, you need visibility. So I am looking for a small film crew and artists in the Chicago area to follow around for a documetary style film. I asked my friend who is a recent film school grad to assist me with the project. So far we have been getting a really positive response from my Craigslist post and several other notes I have been leaving on other sites as well.
We hope to start filming as early as mid September.
Every artist deserves to be seen and we are going start in Chicago and take it from there.
