I haven’t written in a while but I still can’t seem to stop biting my nails.
I seem to be getting both better and worse. I can go for longer without biting. And sometimes when I bite one, I don’t have to bite off every other nail that has grown.
However, I’m still biting and picking, and biting down lower then I used to. I also still pick at my skin and calluses and toenails, but the nail biting is the only one that is really uncontrollable. It’s the only one that is so strong and so impulsive.
None of the tricks online seem to work for me, for instance bad-tasting polish I always get used to, nail polish I scrape off and when I used to chew gum, I did it so much my lower jaw temporarily dislocated (seriously! And it happens more often now that it’s happened once, there’s a weird clicking sound in it.) I really don’t know what to do.

Last year at my school i weighed too little to give blood. This year i purposely gained the five or so pounds I needed to give.
It wasn’t that easy. It’s not that it hurt, but the after effects made me incredibly light headed, dizzy, and cold.
However, nothing can take away from the amazing feeling you get once it’s over! At the school were I go, they said several hundreds tried to donate, yet only 31 pints could ultimately be used. I’d definitly recommend anyone do it.

So now six of my nails have been bitten off. I’ve only been able to resist four of them. What is wrong with me? haha. This always happens when I have a hard week, especially at work.
I tried using this No Bite stuff but it wears off so fast and I seem to be too used to the still awful taste. Does anyone know of any product that really helped them out and made them not want to bite?
