This has been going well -

I’ve been doing this consistently for 4 months. I signed up for a couple of classes at my gym – both 4 on 1 with a trainer. One is for kettlebell (which I highly recommend – I also recommend getting a certified KB instructor to show you how to do the exercises – I tried on my own, and the instruction has helped immeasurably) and another one that addresses general training and Olympic weightlifting techniques.
On off days of active rest, I take my dog for long (3-4 miles) walks – and also just go for walks myself.
I’ve lost 30 pounds since the first of the year – but more importantly, I can see where this is going, and that I have a lot of fitness goals that I can actually attain.

This has actually been going quite well-

For the last four months, I’ve been exercising fairly consistently, and then, in past month and a half, I actually got a trainer and have been able to do a lot of stuff I haven’t been able to do in ages (real push-ups, squat thrusts, etc.) And, she’s taught me a lot more about training that I can use in the future – very cool.
