ahh my sophomore year. even with my ap classes and extracurricular activites i ended up not getting home every night until 7 at night, granted that isnt late but for me, and my somewhat psycho mother it was. it began after second semester. i introduced camille to wahoos fish tacos, and that is when it began. we were done with our sports. after 6th period we would take the bus to wahoos. and then wherever else we wanted to go. we went to balboa, fashion island and huntington. we would ride the bus wherever we wanted. we met aall types of random people on the bus. and it want just us we even got a few more frinds to come along for the ride. we called them adventures. thats what they were to us. and now that we drive, we dont really have them anymore.
while in hawaii with my family over christmas i decided to try out surfing.
it was crazy.
we go into the little shop on lanai dr. in maui. we are introduced to our surf instructor, a 50 beach bum not taller than me whose teeth were misssing. i was a little creeped out but he said he had been surfing since he was like 3 or something. and we went out into the water. first wave i fell. second fell. third i was up. it was an awesome feeling. will i go pro anytime soon?
probably not but i will try some time soon to stand back up.
