This might be hard for me living in an urban NYC area, but where there’s a will, there’s a way :o). I was never interested in gardening before and all of a sudden I became so curious about it. So I thought, why not?

How I did it: I was invited to my sister's baby shower in Virginia, so I saved up some cash and decided to go. I met my 3 older sisters and a younger sister I only recently knew I had. It turned out to be a really cool experience. They were all very welcoming. Nothing was faked or forced and I had a really great time. They're very funny, down-to-earth people and I'm looking forward to visiting again in a few months. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I was searching endlessly for a GOOD volunteer organization I could join and found New York Cares in a google search. I registered, went to an orientation in August and in September had my first project. Its going well so far and I'm looking forward to working on a variety of other projects with them too. I'm going to be starting off doing one project a month, then increase over time. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I stopped giving a siht about what other people think and started worrying about what I think and how I feel. It starts with me; I spent a lot of time with myself, figuring out who I was what I didn't like and what and how I was gonna change and then thought about what I did like and kept it the same. But it was all about me facing the truth about myself. Then once I was able to keep it real with myself, I started keeping it real with oth… Read how I did it…

I haven’t seen my 3 “half” sisters and “half” brother (on my fathers side) since I was 5 (I’ll be 23 next month) so I have met them but I don’t know them at all. I just want to at least try and get to know them, since I never had that opportunity thanks to my father. So much drama has unfolded over this, that I hope even one good thing can come of it. So, I’ll be going to one of my sister’s baby shower this weekend. I’d say whats the worse that can happen, but thats almost as bad luck as the next victim in a horror film saying I’ll be right back. Lol. I just hope it goes well.
Im making more money but its harder for me to save than when I was making less money. Its like you get your check and you say “Wow, I’ve got plenty of money, I can afford to buy this or that and still save”. Only problem is you buy so much of “this” or “that” until there’s nothing left. I gotta be smarter about this.
